Tap the gear icon or your profile icon in the app to open Settings.

Theme & Appearance

  1. Tap Theme & Mode in the Appearance section
  2. Choose from 7 color palettes
  3. Toggle between light and dark mode
Your current theme and mode are shown below the setting name.

Sync Snag with Cloud

Your snags sync automatically, but you can also trigger a manual sync:
  1. Tap Sync Now
  2. A progress bar shows sync completion percentage
  3. The last synced time is shown below the button

Statistics

View stats about your library — total snags saved, collections count, and more.

AI Auto-Categorization

Snag can automatically categorize your saved content. Toggle this on or off in the Preferences section of Settings.

Notifications

  1. Tap Notifications in Preferences
  2. Toggle notifications on or off
You can also manage Snag notifications in your iPhone’s Settings → Notifications → Snag.

Hidden Files

View and manage snags you’ve hidden from your main Library. The count of hidden items is shown next to the setting.
  1. Tap Hidden Files
  2. Browse your hidden snags
  3. Tap any to unhide it

Reset Open Preferences

Snag remembers how you prefer to open different types of links. Tap Reset Open Preferences to clear these preferences and start fresh.

Sign Out

  1. Scroll to the bottom of Settings
  2. Tap Sign Out
Signing out does not delete your data — everything is still in your account when you sign back in.
