The Search Tab

The Search tab is a dedicated search screen — tap Search (magnifying glass) in the bottom navigation to open it.

Searching

Type in the search bar at the top to search across all your snags. Results appear instantly as you type. What gets searched:

Tap the ✕ button on the right of the search bar to clear your text. Tap Clear (top right) to clear both search text and all active filters at once.

Filter by Category

Below the search bar is a Categories filter row. Tap one or more category chips to narrow results to only that content type.
  • You can select multiple categories at once — results will include snags from any of the selected categories
  • The category chips follow the same order as your Library filter chips
  • Categories section can be collapsed by tapping the heading

Filter by Collection

Below Categories is a Collections filter row. Tap one or more collection chips to show only snags in those collections.
  • You can select multiple collections at once
  • A Favorites chip appears first — tap it to filter to only your starred snags
  • Collections section can be collapsed by tapping the heading

Combining Filters

You can combine search text, categories, and collections all at once:
  • Type keywords and select categories and/or collections
  • Results must match all active filters simultaneously
  • The result count is shown above the list — e.g. “12 results in 2 categories”
When you haven’t typed anything yet, a Quick Search section appears showing suggested search terms based on your tags.
  • Tap any chip to instantly populate the search bar with that term
  • Shows up to 8 suggestions
  • To remove a suggestion: Tap Remove (top right of the Quick Search section) to enter remove mode, then tap any chip to hide it permanently
  • Quick Search section can be collapsed by tapping the heading

Recent Searches

Below Quick Search, your Recent Searches are shown — the last 10 searches you submitted.
  • Tap any recent search to run it again instantly
  • Tap the ✕ next to any entry to remove it
  • Tap Clear to remove all recent searches at once
Recent searches are saved when you submit a search (tap Done on the keyboard).

View Mode

Tap the view toggle (top right of the Search screen) to switch between Expanded and Compact view for your results — same as in the Library tab.

Actions on Search Results

From a search result you can swipe or tap for the same actions as in your Library:
  • Swipe right → Add to Collection
  • Swipe left → Delete
  • Tap → open the snag with full action options (open, share, copy link, add note, favorite, hide, delete)
