# Search

> Find any snag instantly on Android

## How to Search

Search is built into the top of your Library screen — no separate Search tab.

1. Tap the **Search** bar at the top of the Library
2. Start typing — results filter instantly as you type
3. Tap the **✕** to clear your search

## What Gets Searched

## Combining Search with Filter Chips

You can search and filter at the same time:

1. Tap a **filter chip** to narrow by category (Twitter, Instagram, Screenshots, etc.)
2. Type in the search bar to further narrow within that filter

## Search Tips

* **Be specific** — "chocolate cake recipe" finds better results than "food"
* **Search your notes** — context you added when saving is fully searchable
* **Use filter chips first** — narrow to a category, then search within it
* **Partial words work** — "rec" will match "recipe", "recommendation", etc.

  A dedicated Search tab with advanced filtering (by category, collection, favorites, quick search, and recent searches) is coming to Android in a future update — currently available on iOS.
